Stephanie Linda Bond, a daughter of Barbara Bond of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and Richard Berljawsky of Montreal, was married yesterday to Jesse Louis Newhouse, the son of Lorry and Mark W. Newhouse of New York. The Rev. Alison Caiola, an interfaith minister, performed the nondenominational ceremony at the Harvard Club in New York.
Mrs. Newhouse, 30, has her own public relations consultancy, 007 Events, in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Her father owns Vox Box, a business in Montreal that creates messages for corporate telephone systems. He was until 1993 a disc jockey in Montreal known professionally as Richard Berle. Her mother is a buyer in Rotterdam for a technology unit of Royal Dutch Shell, the oil company.
Mr. Newhouse, 31, is an executive producer of two recent films: “Memory,” a psychological thriller starring Ann-Margret and Billy Zane, and “Afghan Knights,” a drama about a rescue mission in Afghanistan.
His father is the executive vice president for newspapers at Advance Publications in New York, which owns Condé Nast Publications, Fairchild Publications and other publishing companies. He is also the president of the board of the New York City Opera and is also on the board of the New York City Outward Bound Center.
